81st Annual Academy Awards

This Sunday (February 22, 2009) at 5pm, the Academy Awards will premier once again!

Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role
Anne Hathaway for "Rachel Getting Married"
Angelina Jolie for "Changeling"
Melissa Leo for "Frozen River"
Meryl Streep for "Doubt"
Kate Winslet for "The Reader"

Other movies up for nominations include "The Dark Knight", "Hellboy II", "Iron Man", "Wanted, "Wall-E", and many others.

With Heath Ledger up for nomination for "The Dark Knight", his father will be attending the Academy Awards to represent him.

I am looking forward to watching the Academy Awards and will post my opinions on the winners as my next post. And yes, I do think Brad Pitt had better win at least one of his nominations. =D
